You need to also know that only certain albums can be deleted. All it does is remove the album and transfers all the photos contained inside to the default Camera Roll. Doing this doesn't delete the photos inside the Album. Navigate from Photos > Albums > Edit then select the red circle that comes up. Step 4: Click the delete button, and press "Delete".
